Most exhibition environments in the concrete industry are utilitarian, relying primarily on oversized banners, cluttered sacks of material, datasheets and giveaways.
In contrast, the Sakrete / Amerimix environment is like no other! The unique exterior structure is massive, dynamic, brand forward, and creates a sense of intrigue to what lies within the walls. It also brings the product to life in the setting where it is used daily—an active construction site. Not a dirty disorganized site, but one with a touch of sophistication, that supports a narrative, guiding the user through the Sakrete and Amerimix story and engagement with the product.
The interior of the environment was designed to emulate an active construction site, constructed from materials typically found there, such as unfinished lumber, rebar, metal truss, corrugated metal, metal I-beams, concrete forms, and shipping pallets, most of which are Oldcastle Architectural products, the corporate parent of Sakrete.
Elements such as expansive graphics, specialty lighting, floor inlays, and AV offset these materials, creating balance and a sense of innovation. Powerful Sakrete and Amerimix logos suspended in a monumental metal surround captures the audience’s attention from across the hall. Huge interior graphics tell the story of how these products are optimized on the job site. The demonstration spaces within are bold and dynamic, mirroring the angular shape of the exterior surround. All of these materials and shapes work together to elevate the environmental design and the Sakrete brand.
Most importantly, the environment was designed to give users a hands-on experience using Sakrete and Amerimix products. This was enabled at four engaging workstations, where Sakrete and Amerimix experts demonstrated products and how they work together to provide a comprehensive solution.
